Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

KLC Hospitality Ltd. is seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team.

Job Summary:

The Food Service Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that high-quality food and excellent customer service are provided to our guests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish Work Schedules: Develop and implement efficient work schedules to meet the needs of our guests and staff.
  • Requisition Food and Supplies: Order and manage the inventory of food and kitchen supplies to ensure that we have the necessary resources to provide excellent service.
  • Supervise Staff: Train, supervise, and coordinate the activities of our food service staff to ensure that they are providing excellent service and meeting our quality standards.
  • Train Staff: Provide ongoing training and coaching to our staff to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge needed to provide excellent service.
  • Estimate Ingredients and Supplies: Estimate the ingredients and supplies needed for meal preparation to ensure that we have the necessary resources to provide excellent service.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that our food and service meet our quality control standards.
  • Budgeting: Prepare and manage the budget for our food service department to ensure that we are operating within our means.
  • Customer Service: Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to ensure that we are operating efficiently and effectively.
  • Reporting: Prepare and submit reports to management to ensure that they are informed of our progress and any issues that need to be addressed.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:

This is a physically demanding role that requires a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. The successful candidate will need to be able to work in a fast-paced environment and be able to lift up to 25 pounds.

We are looking for a candidate who is client-focused, has efficient interpersonal skills, and is flexible. The successful candidate will need to be able to work effectively in a team environment and be able to communicate effectively with staff, guests, and management.
