Property Claims Appraiser, Major Loss Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Property Claims Appraiser, Major Loss to join our team at Intact. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for inspecting large loss sites and producing detailed repair estimates for buildings with major damage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough site inspections to assess damage and develop repair estimates
- Travel to customers' locations to gather information and provide technical support
- Negotiate with vendors to obtain restoration cost agreements
- Collaborate with vendors to ensure timely and budget-friendly restoration
- Share knowledge and provide technical training to colleagues
Requirements:
- 5-8 years of experience in post-claim appraisal with expertise in large losses
- Diploma in building appraisal or equivalent
- Technical and practical knowledge of building restoration
