Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Yogen Fruz. Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Staff: Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively.
  • Train and Develop Staff: Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and provide ongoing feedback and coaching to ensure they are meeting expectations.
  • Inventory Management: Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, and maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, and address any customer complaints or concerns in a professional and timely manner.
  • Reporting and Administration: Prepare and submit reports, and maintain accurate records of staff performance and customer feedback.
  • Scheduling and Planning: Establish work schedules, and plan and coordinate staff rotations to ensure adequate coverage during peak periods.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this position.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment is required.
  • Work Setting: This position is based in a fast food outlet or concession, and relocation costs are covered by the employer.
  • Physical Demands: Standing for extended periods is a requirement of this position.
  • Personal Suitability: Excellent oral communication skills, client focus, and a team player attitude are essential for success in this role.
