Release Manager

CB Canada is seeking a skilled Release Manager to join our team for a 12-month contract in Calgary, AB.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage and coordinate integrated BMA releases, ensuring timely and successful deployment.
- Plan and schedule integrated BMA changes in pre-production and production environments, minimizing disruptions.
- Apply and uphold BMA Release Management best practices, governance, and processes to ensure seamless operations.
- Monitor and drive readiness of BMA teams for release deliverables, from planning to product launch.
- Measure and identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance Release practices.
- Responsible for continuous improvements in release deployment practices and processes.
- Track release health during the release cycle with BMA Release and QA teams.
- Communicate all release activities to stakeholders.
- Assess and review release impacts, risks, dependencies, and critical path in collaboration with BMA teams.
- Project management experience in IT projects and integrated applications.
- Program or technical portfolio management of integrated IT projects and applications.
- Software development life cycle and software test life cycle delivery and support experience.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
- Familiarity with ITIL processes and best practices, including ServiceNow, Jira, or similar tools.
- Assignment Length: 12 months.
- Location: Calgary, AB.
