**Release Manager**
We are seeking a highly skilled Release Manager to join our team at CB Canada. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth planning, coordination, and execution of software releases.
Key Responsibilities- Release Planning: Develop and maintain release plans, including defining release scope, timelines, and resource allocation.
- Release Coordination: Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including development, QA, and operations, to ensure successful release execution.
- Release Management: Oversee the release process, including tracking progress, identifying and mitigating risks, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for release-related communications, including status updates, issue reporting, and post-release reviews.
- Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve release processes, identifying opportunities for efficiency gains and implementing changes as needed.
- Project Management: Proven experience in project management, with a focus on IT project delivery.
- Release Management: Strong understanding of release management principles, including planning, coordination, and execution.
- Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Process Improvement: Ability to analyze processes and identify opportunities for improvement, with a focus on efficiency and effectiveness.
- ITIL: Familiarity with ITIL processes and best practices.
- Agile Methodologies: Experience with Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.
- Release Management Tools: Familiarity with release management tools, including ServiceNow and Jira.
