Job Title: Academic Dean

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Academic Dean to join our team at Thompson Rivers University. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading our graduate studies program and providing strategic direction to ensure its continued growth and success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development and implementation of graduate studies policies and procedures
  • Provide strategic direction for the graduate studies program, including curriculum development and program evaluation
  • Collaborate with faculty and staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality graduate programs
  • Develop and manage budgets for graduate studies
  • Represent the university at national and international conferences and events
Requirements:
  • Ph.D. in a relevant field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in academic administration
  • Proven track record of leadership and management experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
