Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Physical Therapist to join our team at Saskatoon City Hospital. As a Staff Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for providing assessment and treatment to patients referred to the assigned service areas. You will also direct, guide, and evaluate physical therapy students under the direction of the Manager of Central Therapies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide assessment and treatment to patients referred to the assigned service areas
  • Direct, guide, and evaluate physical therapy students
  • Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Conduct thorough assessments and develop treatment plans that meet the unique needs of each patient
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy
  • Basic Life Support Certificate (BLS)
  • Registered/eligible with the Saskatchewan College of Physical Therapists (SCPT)
  • Preference to HSAS members as per the SAHO/HSAS Collective Agreement
