Job Title: Registered Massage Therapist

Central Avenue Health Centre is seeking a skilled Registered Massage Therapist to join our team. As a Registered Massage Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality massage therapy services to our clients.

Responsibilities:
  • Consult with other healthcare professionals to develop treatment plans for clients
  • Apply finger and hand pressure to specific points of the body to relieve tension and pain
  • Assess clients by conducting range of motion and muscle tests to identify areas of tension and propose treatment plans
  • Explain procedures, risks, and benefits to clients and maintain records of treatments given
  • Massage and knead muscles and soft tissues of the body to promote relaxation and reduce muscle tension
  • Suggest home care instructions and provide information about techniques to clients
Requirements:
  • Certification by a provincial or territorial association for massage therapists
  • Manual dexterity and ability to work in a physically demanding environment
  • Client focus and values and ethics
