About the Role

This is a permanent position, working 40 hours per week. The ideal candidate will have no degree, certificate or diploma, but be willing to train.

Responsibilities
  • Pack goods into bags and boxes or other containers manually
  • Feed and unload processing machines
  • Check products and packaging for basic quality defects
  • Assist process control and machine operators in performing their duties
  • Clean machines and immediate work areas
  • Sort, pack, crate and package materials and products
Work Environment

The work site environment is cold/refrigerated and noisy. You will be working in a fast-paced meat processing and/or packing plant/establishment.

Requirements
  • Fully trained in food safety/handling skills
  • Able to handle heavy loads up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs)
  • Physically demanding role with repetitive tasks, standing for extended periods, and attention to detail required

Salary Information
