Business Consultant - UX Design

TELUS Health is seeking a Business Consultant with a deep understanding of user experience (UX) design and technology services within the healthcare sector. The ideal candidate will drive innovation and enhance user satisfaction across our range of healthcare products and services through strategic insights and effective implementation of UX principles, with a strong focus on product development and strategic partnerships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead UX strategy development aligned with business goals and user needs
  • Conduct user research, personas development, and journey mapping to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate UX into product and service development lifecycles
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, UX Design, Computer Science, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
  • Proven experience (5+ years) in UX/UI design, product management, or consulting roles within the healthcare industry
  • Strong understanding of healthcare regulations, compliance standards, and patient privacy requirements
  • Proficiency in UX design tools and project management software
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and user feedback into actionable insights
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
Great to Haves
  • MBA or other advanced degrees in a related field
  • PMP designation, Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, or equivalent certifications
  • Bilingual English/French considered an asset
