We are seeking a skilled and experienced Restaurant Team Lead to join our team at SUBWAY.

About the Role

This is a permanent, full-time position with 35 hours per week. As a Restaurant Team Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our high standards of quality, customer service, and food safety are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership: Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food, train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and establish methods to meet work schedules.
  • Customer Service: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, address customers' complaints or concerns, and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Financial Management: Prepare budget and cost estimates, supervise and check assembly of trays, delivery of food trolleys, and maintain accurate financial records.
Requirements
  • A secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • At least 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, ability to work under pressure, and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with health and safety protocols, as well as knowledge of food handling and preparation procedures.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent time management and organizational skills.
