Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Intelligence Analyst to join our team. As a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst, you will be responsible for designing and implementing advanced data analytics solutions to support business decision-making. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, define problems, and develop data-driven insights.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement data pipelines to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources into our data warehouse using Azure Data Factory.
- Develop and maintain data models to ensure data consistency, accuracy, and accessibility.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to define business requirements and develop data-driven insights.
- Present findings and recommendations to business stakeholders using business-friendly terms.
- Optimize data pipelines and data processing workflows for performance, scalability, and efficiency.
- Provide support to other business intelligence teams across the organization and promote a data-driven culture within Mattamy Homes.
Requirements
- Degree in computer science, math, statistics, or related field.
- Minimum 4-5 years' experience in advanced data analytics, focusing on data visualization using Power BI.
- Experience with slicing and pivoting SSAS OLAP cubes, Azure Active Directory, OAuth, and RLS (row-level security).
- Advanced knowledge of T-SQL (Microsoft SQL Server databases/Microsoft Azure SQL databases) along with Azure Data Factory framework and Python scripting using Databricks.
- Proven experience in designing and implementing data pipelines, transformation, and optimization.
- Strong knowledge of data integration/data ingestion processes using Azure Data Factory, Synapse, and Databricks.
- Strong experience collaborating with business and non-technical teams to provide insights from data.
- Strong experience in working with the business to define business requirements.
- Strong ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with business, management, and project teams.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, planning, and time management skills.
- Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Ability to work independently and conduct training.
