The Business Development Representative is a key member of the Fortinet team, responsible for generating and qualifying leads to support the North American Sales Team. This role requires a strong understanding of sales and marketing strategies, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities:- Identify and engage with potential customers through various marketing events, such as webinars, events, and target campaigns.
- Schedule and conduct demonstrations, sales appointments, and other meetings to support the regional account team.
- Track and analyze lead generation, engagement, and performance through Salesforce.com.
- Update and monitor all qualified leads converted to opportunities.
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
- Well-organized with effective time and activity-management skills.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Goal-oriented, able to meet and exceed monthly/quarterly goals.
- Confident with the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to work independently as well as on a team.
- Ideal candidate has interest or experience with technology sales.
- Bilingual French an asset but not required.
- BS in Business Administration or related fields.
Fortinet offers a comprehensive benefits package, including 100% company-paid medical, dental, and vision coverage, as well as a Health Spending Account and a Personal Spending Account. We also provide critical illness, disability, and life insurance, as well as a Group Registered Retirement Savings Plan (RRSP) with a company match. On-target earnings for this full-time position are expected to be between $50,000 - $90,000 annually.
