Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Vice President to join our team at RBC Dominion Securities Inc. As a key member of our corporate lending team, you will be responsible for managing and developing a team of credit professionals who are responsible for a portfolio of credit relationships within designated industry sectors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the team's workflow to ensure Annual Reviews of existing credit relationships are completed in a timely fashion.
  • Ensure credit agreement terms are correctly reflected in the Bank's systems and that all credit documentation is accounted for and reviewed in a timely basis.
  • Provide transactional support to Corporate Banking / Global Markets which includes but is not limited to: credit transaction requests, trading line requests, and cash management requests.
  • Work closely and maintain positive relationships with Corporate Banking, Group Risk Management, Global Markets, and Global Loans Administration.
  • Provide regular feedback and coaching on employee performance and progress against goals, career progression, and continual training.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 5 to 8 years of work experience in corporate lending, credit risk management, or client relationship management.
  • An MBA or a Professional Designation (e.g. CPA, CFA) is considered an asset.
  • Strong financial & risk analysis skills, with a good understanding of accounting standards and financial modelling.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, with strong negotiation skills and an ability to manage conflicting demands and viewpoints, and multiple stakeholder expectations.
