Job Title: Retail Store Operations Manager

We are seeking a skilled and experienced retail store operations manager to join our team at Ontario Inc.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our retail store, including managing sales teams, maintaining inventory levels, and ensuring excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sales Team Management: Assign duties to sales workers, hire and train or arrange for training of staff, and establish work schedules.
  • Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory levels, ensuring that stock is adequately stocked and rotated to minimize waste.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, resolving issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints, and supply shortages.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to inform business decisions.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
  • Experience: At least 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a retail management role.
  • Skills and Qualifications: Efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, organized, reliability, and a team player attitude.
Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary range for this role is between $50,000 to $70,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer benefits such as health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position working 30-40 hours per week in a fast-paced retail environment. The ideal candidate will be able to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and maintain attention to detail while working in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking positions.
