Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Construction Supervisor to join our team at JAKU CONSTRUCTION LTD. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing construction projects, supervising workers, and ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate construction projects from start to finish
  • Recruit, train, and manage a team of construction workers
  • Prepare and submit reports on project progress and costs
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Coordinate with clients and stakeholders to meet project requirements
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in construction or a related field
  • Ability to work outdoors in a noisy environment
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
Work Environment

Our construction projects take place outdoors, and the work environment can be noisy. The successful candidate must be able to work in these conditions.

Work Setting

Our construction projects are located in various settings, including construction sites.

Tasks
  • Prepare production and other reports
  • Supervise workers and projects
  • Recruit and hire workers and carry out related staffing actions
  • Train or arrange for training
  • Prepare bids
  • Estimate costs and materials
  • Set up equipment
  • Ensure health and safety regulations are followed
  • Recommend personnel actions
  • Establish methods to meet work schedules
  • Read blueprints and drawings
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies
  • Work Term: Permanent

  • Hours: 32 to 35 hours per week
