Job Title: Cloud Product Management Director

Scotiabank is seeking a highly skilled Cloud Product Management Director to lead and inspire our Technical Product Management team. As a key member of our Cloud and Platform Engineering team, you will define the strategic direction for Cloud and Platform Engineering, focusing on simplifying operations and enhancing capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and mentor a high-performing product management team to drive innovation and empower our developers.
  • Develop and implement a multi-year vision, strategy, and cross-platform roadmap for the Cloud Platform.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistency and integration of Technology Products within the Cloud Platform.
  • Manage and mentor Senior Technical Product Managers and Technical Product Managers to improve performance and assist them in their career paths.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal requirements while driving technology solutions that meet the evolving needs of our development community.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in product management, with at least 5 years focusing on cloud technologies and platforms.
  • Proven track record of leading and delivering complex, enterprise-scale cloud and platform engineering initiatives.
  • Deep understanding of cloud computing concepts, architectures, and services.
  • Strong knowledge of modern software development methodologies, DevOps practices, and infrastructure as code principles.
