Restaurant Manager Job Description

Jessy's Pizza is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Manager to join our team. As a Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our business runs smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership and Management: Supervise and manage a team of staff members, providing guidance and support to ensure that they are meeting their job responsibilities and providing excellent customer service.
  • Operations Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, including managing inventory, controlling labor costs, and maintaining a clean and safe environment for customers and staff.
  • Customer Service: Ensure that customers receive exceptional service, responding to their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Marketing and Sales: Develop and implement marketing and sales strategies to increase sales and revenue, including managing social media and advertising campaigns.
  • Financial Management: Manage the restaurant's finances, including budgeting, forecasting, and controlling expenses.
Requirements:
  • Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a restaurant management role.
  • Skills: Excellent leadership and management skills, strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and proficiency in MS Office and other software applications.
Work Environment:

The Restaurant Manager will work in a fast-paced environment, with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. The position requires the ability to work under pressure and to maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
