Position Overview

Join 1195110 Ontario Inc. as a dedicated School Custodian. This role is essential in maintaining a clean and safe environment for students and staff.

Qualifications

  • Experience: Training will be provided
Work Environment

The position involves working in various conditions, including:

  • Exposure to all weather conditions
  • Settings such as office buildings and educational institutions
Key Responsibilities

As a custodian, your tasks will include:

  • Cleaning and maintaining hallways, floors, and stairs through sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and waxing
  • Utilizing industrial vacuum cleaners to eliminate dirt, debris, and refuse
  • Disposing of waste from trash cans and other containers
  • Washing windows, interior walls, and ceilings
  • Coordinating with contractors for repairs and maintenance
  • Conducting safety and security inspections
  • Cleaning and sanitizing restrooms and fixtures
  • Working independently with minimal supervision
Physical Requirements

The role involves:

  • Performing repetitive tasks
  • Bending, crouching, and kneeling
  • Lifting weights up to 9 kg (20 lbs)
