About the Role

Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the position of Associate Vice President, Strategy and Enterprise Performance. This is a permanent role based in Saskatoon, SK, and requires onsite work with flexibility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic direction to FCL's various business units, understanding the complex interdependency between FCL and our member owners within the Co-operative Retailing System.
  • Set clear direction for corporate performance management, change leadership, enterprise risk management, and enterprise portfolio management with alignment from senior leaders.
  • Provide strong recommendations on complex decisions impacting enterprise-wide strategies.
  • Support the ongoing development and implementation of a comprehensive government relations and Indigenous engagement strategy for the CRS.
  • Oversee and provide approval on all government and public relations strategies.

Requirements
  • 15+ years of relevant progressively responsible experience successfully operating in a complex multi-stakeholder organization.
  • University degree, with a preference at the graduate level (a combination of relevant education and experience may be considered).
  • Professional designation (considered an asset), e.g., PMP, CPA, or CPHR.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead a team, influence peers, and impact senior leadership.
  • Experience in project management or leading a transformational change/project in a complex enterprise environment.
