Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Distribution Operations Manager to join our team at Uline. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of our warehouse operations, ensuring seamless execution of our distribution processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Warehouse Operations Management
    • Develop and implement strategies to optimize warehouse operations, including inbound and outbound processes.
    • Ensure accurate and efficient receipt, storage, and shipment of products.
    • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement.
  • Team Leadership
    • Lead and motivate a team of warehouse employees to achieve exceptional customer service and same-day shipping goals.
    • Develop and implement training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
    • Foster a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
  • Process Improvement
    • Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve operational issues and implement solutions.
    • Develop and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and support.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or related field.
  • Experience
    • 10+ years of hands-on management experience in large-scale distribution centers.
    • Proven track record of leading high-performing teams and driving process improvements.
  • Skills
    • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
    • Experience with performance metrics and warehouse management systems (WMS).
