The Abercrombie & Fitch Co. Manager in Training (MIT) program is a 90-day opportunity for professional growth and development. As a Manager in Training, you will be immersed in all aspects of running a multi-million dollar business, including store operations, visual merchandising, and team management. This program is designed to train and equip you with the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed in a leadership role.

Upon completion of the program, you will be eligible to move into the Assistant Manager role, where you will have the opportunity to apply your skills and knowledge in a real-world setting. Our company values growth from within and strongly advocates for promoting from within. Many of our District Managers, Regional Managers, Directors, and even our Vice President of Stores have gone through this program.

As a candidate for this position, you will need to possess a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university, strong problem-solving skills, and inclusion and diversity awareness. You will also need to be able to work in a fast-paced and challenging environment, build strong relationships with your team, and be a self-starter with strong interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the management of store operations, including visual merchandising and sales floor strategy
  • Develop and implement sales plans to drive business results
  • Maintain a high level of customer service and satisfaction
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with team members and district leaders
