Job Title: Pipelines Valve Technician

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Pipelines Valve Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for checking and lubricating gas pipeline valves, installing supports, valves, piping, and control systems, and cleaning and lubricating machinery and equipment.

Responsibilities:

  • Check and lubricate gas pipeline valves
  • Install supports, valves, piping, and control systems
  • Clean and lubricate machinery and equipment
  • Check products for quality and other specifications
  • Operate or tend automatic or multi-purpose machines to produce metal parts and metal products
  • Fitting and assembling components using hand and power tools
  • Setting up, operating, and maintaining a variety of conventional and computer numerically controlled (CNC) machine tools

Requirements:

  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience
  • College/CEGEP or equivalent experience in Industrial mechanics and maintenance technology
  • Excellent oral communication skills
  • Organized and reliable
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment
