Job Title: Pipelines Valve Technician

We are seeking a skilled Pipelines Valve Technician to join our team at Contro Valve Inc. As a Pipelines Valve Technician, you will be responsible for checking and lubricating gas pipeline valves, installing supports, valves, piping, and control systems, and cleaning and lubricating machinery and equipment.

Responsibilities:

  • Check and lubricate gas pipeline valves
  • Install supports, valves, piping, and control systems
  • Clean and lubricate machinery and equipment
  • Check products for quality and other specifications
  • Operate or tend automatic or multi-purpose machines to produce metal parts and metal products
  • Fitting and assembling components using hand and power tools
  • Setting up, operating, and maintaining a variety of conventional and computer numerically controlled (CNC) machine tools

Requirements:

  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience
  • College/CEGEP or equivalent experience in Industrial mechanics and maintenance technology
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to work in a dusty, noisy, and hot environment
