Haven Fire Protection Ltd. is seeking an experienced Office Administrative Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in office administration, with a focus on providing exceptional support to our staff and clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Arrange and coordinate seminars, conferences, and other events
  • Supervise and support other team members
  • Record and prepare minutes of meetings, seminars, and conferences
  • Determine and establish office procedures and routines
  • Schedule and confirm appointments
  • Answer telephone calls and relay messages
  • Order office supplies and maintain inventory
  • Arrange travel and make reservations
  • Greet clients and direct them to contacts or service areas
  • Type and proofread correspondence, forms, and other documents
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Participation in a government or community program or initiative that supports newcomers and/or refugees
  • Participation in a government or community program or initiative that supports youth employment
  • Participation in a government or community program or initiative that supports Indigenous people
  • Participation in a government or community program or initiative that supports mature workers
  • Permanent employment
  • English language proficiency
  • 40 hours per week
