Job Title: Food Counter Attendant

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Counter Attendant to join our team at Subway Sandwiches. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, preparing and serving food, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Clean and sanitize equipment, utensils, and work areas to maintain a high level of hygiene and sanitation.
  • Operate dishwashers, wash dishes, glassware, and flatware by hand, and place them in storage areas.
  • Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items, such as sandwiches and salads, to meet customer demands.
  • Take customer orders, serve food and beverages, and handle cash and credit transactions.
  • Stock refrigerators, salad bars, and other storage areas with food, supplies, and equipment.
  • Remove kitchen garbage and trash, and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks and responsibilities simultaneously.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, standing for extended periods and lifting heavy objects.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and maintain a positive attitude.
  • Will train on the job.
Working Conditions:

This is a permanent, full-time position, working 35 hours per week. Public transportation is available. The work environment is fast-paced and physically demanding, with repetitive tasks and standing for extended periods.

The primary language of work is English.
