Job Summary:
The Sales Compensation Analyst plays a pivotal role in our dynamic team, providing critical support in sales compensation management and reporting. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with excellent interpersonal and communication skills to administer the global sales compensation plan, ensuring consistency and adherence to plan policies and financial controls.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer the global sales compensation plan for 200+ team members, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
- Partner with Human Resources to understand offers of employment and ensure accurate processing in collaboration with Payroll.
- Work closely with the Sales Operations team to ensure accurate crediting of bookings to sales representatives and managers.
- Assist with the configuration, testing, and administration of our commission software, including commission plans, employee status, territory and account assignment, crediting rules, compensation targets, quotas, and draw payments.
- Prepare a monthly commission expense estimate for Finance and reports required by the Sales Team.
- Research and resolve commission-related inquiries from the Sales team.
- Evaluate commission plans and processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs of administration.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or Operations.
- 3+ years of hands-on sales compensation administration experience.
- Experience using CallidusCloud (also known as SAP Sales Cloud).
- Advanced MS Excel skills, including pivot tables and complex formulas.
- Detail-oriented, self-motivated, proactive, and have absolute integrity.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Service-oriented and effective at building positive relationships, fostering trust, and resolving conflict.
