Geoscientist and Remediation Consultant

Pario Engineering & Environmental Sciences LP is seeking a detail-oriented Geoscientist and Remediation Consultant to join our team in Northern Nova Scotia, including Cape Breton.
About the Role:This challenging role involves reviewing and signing off on technical reports, directing site activities of field staff, and liaising directly with clients on a file-by-file basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for completing hydrogeological and environmental site investigations and oversight of remediation activities, primarily on environmental spills and contaminated sites.
Key Responsibilities:- Review and sign-off on technical reports
- Direct site activities of field staff
- Liaise directly with clients on a file-by-file basis
- Complete hydrogeological and environmental site investigations
- Oversight of remediation activities
The ideal candidate will possess an Environmental Science, Geology, Geological Engineering or Environmental Engineering degree from a recognized university, or equivalent. A minimum of 5 years of related operational experience is preferred, along with 3+ years of insurance industry experience as an asset.
A valid driver's license, excellent report writing abilities, and proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint are also essential requirements. The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, positive, and able to work collaboratively with others to achieve goals.
