Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber & Risk Security Specialist to join our team at ProViso Staffing. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technology and cybersecurity risk management, with experience in database technologies and reporting tools.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead the development and implementation of risk management strategies and processes to ensure the security and integrity of our technology systems.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate cybersecurity risks, and to develop and implement effective risk management controls.
  3. Design and implement reporting tools and metrics to measure and analyze cybersecurity risk, and to provide insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
  4. Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including business leaders, IT teams, and security teams, to ensure effective communication and collaboration on risk management initiatives.
  5. Stay up-to-date with emerging cybersecurity threats and trends, and develop and implement strategies to mitigate these risks.
Requirements
  1. Sound knowledge of technology controls and security domains, disciplines, and practices, including vulnerability management, data security, application security, cloud security, and identity and access management.
  2. Experience in database technologies, including SQL, and reporting tools, including MS Office (Excel).
  3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collect and analyze data, and to develop and implement effective risk management strategies.
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  5. Cybersecurity risk metrics experience, with a strong understanding of risk management principles and practices.
Preferred Qualifications
  1. Knowledge of financial industry's technology controls and security risk issues.
  2. Experience in a high-transaction, large/complex/matrix business environment, ideally within financial services.
