We are seeking a highly skilled Traffic Control Technician-Infrastructure Management to join our team at Webber, LLC. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient management of provincial highways.
Your primary duties will include responding to incidents, coordinating with emergency services, and maintaining accurate records. You will also be required to communicate effectively with stakeholders, including provincial and local police, and to prioritize tasks and manage workload independently.
Key Responsibilities- Respond to incidents on provincial highways, including traffic accidents, spills, and emergency situations
- Coordinate with emergency services, including police and fire departments
- Maintain accurate records of incidents and accidents
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including provincial and local police
- Prioritize tasks and manage workload independently
- High School Diploma required
- Minimum of 2+ years' work experience in highway maintenance operations, freeway traffic control, and incidents/accidents management
- Valid Class DZ driver's license required with a good driving record
- OTM BOOK 7 certification required
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is routinely exposed to outside weather conditions, including extreme heat and cold. The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, high precarious places, fume or airborne particles, and frequent exposure to insects.
