Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Site Project Controls Specialist to join our team at Johnson Controls. As a key member of our construction sales team, you will play a critical role in supporting the execution of building systems and equipment project opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the construction sales team in pre and post sales activities, including system configuration validation, HVAC equipment and/or controls selection, and bidding.
  • Develop and provide detailed engineering information and submittals to communicate design, configuration, operating, and installation requirements to customers, consultants, and subcontractors.
  • Work with assigned sales teams to maintain an effective balance between customer satisfaction and project financial results.
  • Provide technical support, selections, and limited estimating support to Account Execs during project design or proposal phase.
  • Manage project Profit and Loss (P&L) and customer satisfaction for all projects assigned.
  • Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to develop and provide engineered equipment submittals in compliance with contract requirements.
  • Verify that Johnson Controls has an approved equipment submittal and positive configuration acceptance by the installing contractor prior to releasing equipment for fabrication.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office suite, Adobe Writer, and basic Windows operating system environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to simultaneously manage a large and diverse number of projects with professionalism, cooperation, and persistence.
  • Project Management Experience or valid PMP certification.
