Job Title: Plastic Extruder Operator

Accord Plastics Corp. is seeking a skilled Plastic Extruder Operator to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining our extrusion equipment to produce high-quality plastic compounds.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate and maintain extrusion equipment to produce plastic compounds
  • Monitor and inspect the quality of material produced
  • Place weighed materials in mixing machines and unload mixture into containers or conveyors for further processing
  • Set up and operate extruding machines to extrude plastic compound through a nozzle or die
  • Change dies on extruding machines according to production line changes
  • Organize and maintain inventory of materials and equipment
  • Perform trimming and sanding of plastic or fiberglass parts
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in a related field
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Ability to distinguish between colors
  • Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks
  • Excellent oral communication and teamwork skills
