Plastic Extrusion Operator

We are seeking a skilled Plastic Extrusion Operator to join our team at ACCORD PLASTICS CORP. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating extruding machines to produce high-quality plastic compounds.
Key Responsibilities- Troubleshoot and maintain equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
- Monitor and inspect the quality of material produced to meet our high standards.
- Operate mixing machines to combine weighed materials and unload the mixture into containers or conveyors for further processing.
- Set up and operate extruding machines to extrude plastic compounds through nozzles or dies.
- Change dies on extruding machines according to production line changes.
- Organize and maintain inventory to ensure efficient production and minimize waste.
- Perform trimming and sanding on plastic or fiberglass parts as needed.
- Forklift Operator Certification is a must.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and manual dexterity.
