Pharmacy Manager Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Pharmacy Manager to join our team at TAL Group in Northern Ontario.

About the Role

This is a full-time position that requires a valid Pharmacist license in Ontario, with a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a managerial or supervisory role within a pharmacy setting.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, company policies, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage inventory, ordering, and stock control to meet the needs of the pharmacy while minimizing waste and maximizing cost-efficiency.
  • Dispense prescriptions accurately and counsel patients on proper medication use, potential side effects, and drug interactions.
  • Work closely with other healthcare professionals to provide optimal care and patient outcomes.
  • Provide leadership in the training and development of pharmacy staff, fostering a positive and team-oriented atmosphere.
Requirements
  • Valid Pharmacist license in Ontario (must be in good standing with the Ontario College of Pharmacists).
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a managerial or supervisory role within a pharmacy setting.
  • Proficient with Kroll Pharmacy Software, including prescription processing and medication management.
