Job Summary

As a key member of our team at WESTCANA CUSTOM HOMES LTD., the Human Resources Officer will be responsible for various human resources-related tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Recruitment and Selection
    • Identify current and prospective staffing requirements
    • Prepare and post job notices and advertisements
    • Collect and screen applicants
  • Employee Relations
    • Advise job applicants on employment requirements and terms and conditions of employment
    • Review candidate inventories
    • Notify applicants of results of selection process and prepare job offers
  • HR Administration
    • Advise managers and employees on staffing policies and procedures
    • Determine eligibility to entitlements and arrange staff training
    • Supervise personnel clerks performing filing, typing and record-keeping duties
