Geological Field Operations Coordinator

At Wesdome Gold Mines Ltd., we are seeking an experienced Geological Field Operations Coordinator to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and conducting geological, geophysical, geochemical, hydrographic or oceanographic surveys, prospecting field trips, exploratory drilling, well logging or underground mine survey programs. This includes preparing rock, mineral or metal samples and assisting in sample preparation.
The ideal candidate will have experience operating GPS and other navigation equipment, using MS Office, and have skills in mapping and surveying, geochemical sampling analysis, and geological mapping. Additionally, they will interpret and evaluate data, collect and acquire field data, and work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
We offer a competitive salary of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience. The benefits package includes a dental plan, health care plan, vision care benefits, a bonus, and a Registered Retirement Savings Plan (RRSP).
Requirements include a college, CEGEP or non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years, and 2 years of experience in the field of employment. Key skills include owning transportation and working under pressure.
