Job Title: Earth Surface Processes Professor

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly qualified Earth Surface Processes Professor to join our faculty at the University of Ottawa. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching and researching in the field of earth surface processes, including slope processes, fluvial erosion, transportation, and sedimentation.

Responsibilities:

  • Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in earth surface processes
  • Conduct research in the field of earth surface processes
  • Develop and maintain a strong research program
  • Supervise graduate students
  • Participate in departmental and university service

Requirements:

  • Ph.D. in physical geography or equivalent
  • Experience in teaching and research in earth surface processes
  • Strong publication record
  • Ability to develop and maintain a strong research program
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
