Job Title: Earth Surface Processes Professor

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly qualified Earth Surface Processes Professor to join our faculty at the University of Ottawa. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching and researching in the field of earth surface processes, including slope processes, fluvial erosion, transportation, and sedimentation.

Responsibilities:

  • Teach courses in earth surface processes, including slope processes, fluvial erosion, transportation, and sedimentation.
  • Conduct research in the field of earth surface processes, including slope processes, fluvial erosion, transportation, and sedimentation.
  • Develop and implement curriculum for earth surface processes courses.
  • Advise students on research projects and academic matters.

Requirements:

To be considered for this position, applicants must have a Master's degree in physical geography or a related field, as well as experience in teaching and research in the field of earth surface processes.

Working Conditions:

The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced academic environment, with a focus on teaching and research. The position will involve working with students, faculty, and staff to develop and implement curriculum, conduct research, and advise students.

Language of Instruction: English

Competence in Second Language: Passive

Course Schedule: Monday 13:00-14:30, Wednesday 11:30-13:00
