At Chris Szymanski, we are seeking a highly reliable and responsible Community Safety Liaison to join our team in the Halton Region.
We offer a competitive hourly wage of $20-$22 per hour (based on experience) for this role.
Job Description:We require a dedicated individual who will be committed to ensuring the safety and security of residential communities by providing visible presence, monitoring activities, and responding to emergencies.
- Patrolic designated neighborhoods to observe and report suspicious activity
- Monitor security cameras, alarms, and other surveillance equipment
- Respond to calls regarding security concerns and emergencies
- Engage with residents, providing information and assistance as needed
Our ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, both verbal and written, and be able to stay calm and think clearly in emergency situations.
- Report incidents, violations, and safety hazards in a timely manner
- Enforce community rules, policies, and procedures as applicable
- Provide first aid or emergency assistance if necessary
To be successful in this role, you must possess an Ontario Security License (valid and up-to-date), a valid Ontario Driver's License with a clean driving record, and be physically capable of walking or patrolling for extended periods.
- Knowledge of basic security procedures and protocols
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
