Key Responsibilities

  • Draft and send correspondence
  • Compile and serve court documents
  • Maintain calendars and bring forward systems
  • Prepare invoices and communicate with clients on billing matters

  • Communicate with prospective clients as a first point of contact
  • Register for events and conferences
  • Organize expense reports
  • Maintain files and organization

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience as a Legal Assistant
  • Litigation experience is an asset
  • Familiarity with the Rules of Civil Procedure, particularly service rules and deadlines
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Keen attention to detail
  • A strong work ethic and self-motivation
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Experience with technology and remote/hybrid environments
