Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer

The Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer - Avionics (AME E) is a key member of our maintenance team, responsible for performing day-to-day Avionics equipment testing, troubleshooting, repairs, and calibrations.
Key Responsibilities- Perform Avionics equipment testing, troubleshooting, repairs, and calibrations within a budgeted time.
- Provide technical assistance or guidance to the crew.
- Communicate task completion to ensure the next trade can move on to the job.
- Ensure a safe and clean work environment.
- Promote company values, vision, and mission.
- Operate various Avionics test equipment, including air data test sets, navigation, indication, and recording systems, pneumatic, and autopilot systems.
- Document and report all work performed on a routine basis.
- Sign worksheets and work cards for work accomplished - completely and accurately.
- Transport Canada Certified AME- E License required.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Shows integrity, ingenuity, and assertiveness in the performance of tasks.
- Must have strong troubleshooting skills with good quality workmanship.
- Employee is expected to work towards obtaining an ACA.
- 3 - 5 years of experience in the field is required.
- Experience on Dash 8 and CRJ is an asset.
