About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Industrial Electrical Specialist to join our team at Maple Leaf Foods Inc. As an Industrial Electrical Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Electrical System Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on electrical systems, including testing and troubleshooting equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Electrical System Installation: Install new electrical systems and equipment, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Electrical System Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve electrical system issues, using technical knowledge and problem-solving skills to minimize downtime.
  • Electrical System Testing: Conduct regular testing and inspections of electrical systems to ensure they are functioning safely and efficiently.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including maintenance, operations, and engineering, to ensure effective communication and coordination of electrical system activities.
Requirements
  • Education: Completion of a recognized apprenticeship program or equivalent experience in electrical systems maintenance and repair.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in electrical systems maintenance and repair, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • Skills: Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems, including circuit analysis, electrical codes, and safety protocols. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
