Job Title: Medical Care Assistant

We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Medical Care Assistant to join our team at Coopérative de services à domicile de la MRC de Montmagny. As a Medical Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support in the comfort of our clients' homes.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide personal care and assistance with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Administer medications and provide first aid in emergency situations.
  • Assist with mobility and transfer patients safely.
  • Perform other duties related to patient care and comfort, as needed.
Requirements:
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: An asset, but not required.
  • Certifications: Moving Patients Safety Principles (MPSP) training and CPR Certificate.
Work Environment:

Our Medical Care Assistants work in a home care and visiting care agency setting, providing care and support to clients in their own homes. This role requires a combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, and crouching.
