Job Title: Regional Staff Pharmacist

At Prairie Mountain Health, we are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Regional Staff Pharmacist to join our team.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert medication management services to patients and healthcare professionals across our region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement medication distribution strategies to ensure safe and effective medication use.
  • Provide clinical guidance and support to healthcare teams on medication-related issues.
  • Conduct medication reviews and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Supervise and mentor pharmacy assistants and students to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Pharmacy to develop and implement policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Pharmacy or equivalent.
  • Current licensure as a pharmacist in the Province of Manitoba.
  • Pharmacy Examining Board of Canada Certification.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
