Export Development Canada (EDC) is a financial Crown corporation dedicated to helping Canadian businesses succeed in the global market. We are seeking an experienced Identity and Access Management (IAM) Platform Owner to join our Digital & Technology Solutions (DTS) group.
Job Summary:The IAM Platform Owner will be responsible for the overall strategy, design, and operation of EDC's IAM platform. This includes defining and establishing the platform framework, implementing and managing the platform, and growing the platform as needed to ensure EDC achieves its desired outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:- Define and establish the platform framework, including establishing metrics, Service Level Indicators (SLIs), and Objectives (SLOs)
- Implement and manage the platform, including overseeing the development, deployment, and maintenance of the operating system infrastructure
- Grow the platform as needed to ensure EDC achieves its desired outcomes in collaboration with the business owner
- Collaborate with architects, technical product leads, product owners, scrum masters, engineers, and business people
- Take a leading role in embracing IT transformation and building a resilient support organization
- Report out on the platform metrics and conduct regular operational reviews with platform stakeholders, using real-time dashboards
- University degree or college diploma in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 7 years' experience working with Microsoft and Linux Operating Systems, Microsoft AD, Azure AD (Entra ID), PKI
- Minimum 3 years' experience working in an outsourced environment
- Experience working in an Agile methodology regarding platforms, products, and services, including establishing service channels, metrics, service levels, and service availability
- Experience with working on OS image creation, hardening, and patching
- Experience with managing Microsoft Active Directory (AD) and Domain Controllers, including but not limited to administration, maintenance, and monitoring
- Experience with Entra ID (Azure Active Directory), including managing, configuring, and monitoring
- Experience in managing Certificate Lifecycle Management capabilities, including working with third-party service providers and Certificate Authorities
- Experience with Microsoft technologies, including M365
- Experience with annual budgeting and planning exercises
- Experience in managing staff and services providers and third parties
- Strong communication and analytical skills
- Microsoft 365 Certified: Any Associate
- Experience with Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft Azure AD, Azure B2C, Microsoft SCCM, and Azure Monitor, and ServiceNow
- Experience with Venafi or AppViewX Certificate Lifecycle Management and PKI+
- ITIL certification
- Agile or Lean certification
- Bilingual in both Official Languages (English and French)
- Product Owner 18: Salaries are based on qualifications and experience and typically range from $92,355 - $123,140 plus performance-based incentive.
- Export Development Canada is a hybrid work environment.
- This role may be performed from EDC's headquarters in Ottawa, or from the Community Hub in Montreal, Toronto, Vancouver, Calgary, or Halifax.
