Job Title: Healthcare Architect

We are seeking a skilled Healthcare Architect to join our team at Arcadis Vancouver office. As a key member of our Global Architecture & Urbanism Division, you will work on a variety of healthcare projects in BC, Canada, and the USA.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct feasibility studies, development permit applications, building permit applications, and contract documents for tender.
  • Meet with clients and represent the firm at various working groups, preparing presentation materials.
  • Participate in contract administration, administering the construction contract on behalf of the client.
  • Collaborate with project teams, including job captains and intern architects, as required.
Requirements:
  • 5-10 years of experience in the architectural field.
  • Licensed architect.
  • Detailed understanding of project delivery models, including Design-Build, Design-Bid-Build, and Construction Management.
  • Knowledge of applicable CSA standards, building codes, and construction details.
  • Advanced Revit skills are a benefit.
  • Excellent communication skills are a requirement.
