Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced RV Service Technician to join our team at Traveland RV Supercentres. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing recreational vehicles to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Examine and diagnose vehicles to identify repair needs
  • Discuss repairs with shop foreman or service advisor to ensure accurate estimates
  • Communicate additional service requests to service advisor to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Plan work in cooperation with shop foreman to optimize service efficiency
  • Provide labor estimates to service advisor to ensure transparency and accuracy
  • Monitor repair time and update service advisor to ensure timely completion
  • Maintain strict adherence to dealership policies on vehicle care and operation to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Complete story and/or documentation for client repairs to ensure accurate records
  • Assist in mentoring technician trainees to develop their skills and knowledge
  • Attend company and factory training to stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and techniques
  • Keep current with factory technical bulletins to ensure compliance with manufacturer standards
  • Understand and follow federal, state and local regulations (such as disposal of hazardous waste) to ensure environmental responsibility
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED (general equivalency diploma); or 1 to 3 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Operator Driver's License (must be insurable)
Compensation and Benefits
  • $25 - $40 hourly based on experience
