Dietitian Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Dietitian to join our team at Southlake Regional Health Centre.

The successful candidate will work closely with our health care team to provide expert nutritional guidance and support to patients. This includes conducting assessments, creating personalized nutrition plans, and educating patients on healthy eating habits.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' nutritional needs and develop effective plans to address any deficiencies or imbalances.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and optimal patient outcomes.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families on healthy eating habits and nutrition-related topics.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest research and guidelines in clinical nutrition and apply this knowledge to practice.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of nutrition-related policies and procedures.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Registered Dietitian in good standing with the College of Dietitians of Ontario.
• Strong clinical experience in a hospital outpatient setting, preferably with a focus on diabetes management.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
• Ability to travel to outreach clinics and provide education and support to patients in various settings.
