Nutrition Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Nutrition Specialist to join our Health Care Team. The successful candidate will work closely with patients to provide expert nutritional advice and support their well-being.

This is a full-time opportunity that offers a competitive salary and benefits package. The estimated annual salary for this role is $65,000 - $85,000 based on qualifications and experience.

• Provide personalized nutrition counseling and education to patients with chronic conditions such as diabetes.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement evidence-based nutrition plans.
• Conduct group education sessions using various teaching techniques to promote healthy eating habits.
• Develop and maintain relationships with community organizations to enhance our outreach services.
• Participate in clinical research projects to improve patient outcomes and advance our understanding of nutrition-related health issues.

• Registered Dietitian in good standing with the College of Dietitians of Ontario.
• CDE certification an asset.
• Experience in a hospital outpatient setting and clinical teaching required.
• Ability to travel to outreach clinics and possess a current Ontario Driver's License.
• Demonstrated excellence in communication, problem assessment, and customer service skills.
