About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Professional to join our team at Yail Harbor Inc. as a Direct Support Professional.

Key Responsibilities
  • Light Housekeeping and Cleaning Duties: Maintain a clean and safe living environment for our clients.
  • Companionship: Provide emotional support and engage in activities with our clients to promote social interaction and well-being.
  • Shopping and Errands: Assist clients with grocery shopping and other errands as needed.
  • Transportation and Appointments: Accompany clients to medical appointments, social events, and other activities.
  • Personal Care: Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
  • Language: English.
  • Transportation: Valid driver's license.
Work Environment
  • Work Conditions: Combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Physical Capabilities: Repetitive tasks.
